2007 should be an amazing year. I have heard from a great deal of people who are looking at getting their real estate license as a New Years resolution. New Year, New Goals

As the new year approaches, we look back to what we have accomplished and set goals for the future - be it in our personal or corporate lives. One such goal that I get a large number of questions about is how to become a real estate agent.

Becoming a real estate agent is a great goal. But to achieve that goal, there are a number of subachievements that you will have to accomplish.

Besides these, you should question yourself as to what would make you a good realtor? What can you provide that is different than anyone else in the market.

One last piece of advice I can offer is that you take courses on marketing. If you cannot market yourself, it will be very hard to be successful in real estate in the long run.
